The concepts of cyclicity and karma serve as the guiding principles behind the design of the Organic Collection, created for Cantina dei Colli Ripani. The primary objective is to communicate the essence of organic production and environmental consciousness, emphasizing the values of respect and the pursuit of objectively superior product quality.
Choosing an organic product means embracing a reciprocal relationship: it’s good for us and good for the planet. The labels aim to make this connection tangible to the consumer, highlighting the significance of the cycle of exchange. Give respect to receive respect, offer kindness to inspire kindness, and choose quality to experience it in return — a message that runs through every element of the design.

awards
🏆 "Label of the year 2015" 19th Int.l Packaging Competition, Vinitaly
🥇 Gold Label, Vinimmagine 2015, Premio Nazionale Etichetta d'Oro
The label design revolves around the concept of cyclicity and karma, symbolizing the unbreakable bond between the consumer and nature. This idea is visually embodied through a layout featuring an "open" message — a headline with no clear beginning or end, but instead presented in a continuous circular format, designed to be read as an infinite loop.
The message reads
rosso riceno is the good fruit of a land cultivated with respect, in a continuous cycle, where care creates the best taste when drinking (and then again) rosso piceno is the good fruit of a land cultivated with respect, in a continuous cycle, where care creates the best taste when drinking (and so on)..."
This circular narrative emphasizes the endless exchange between nature and those who nurture it with respect. The repetition of the message reflects the eternal cycle of cultivation, harvest, and renewal, mirroring the natural rhythms of the land.
The visual elements further reinforce this concept. Geometric patterns, inspired by the neatly aligned rows of vineyards, encircle the bottle, creating a sense of movement, harmony, and rhythm. Five distinct patterns wrap around the bottle, each representing a unique aspect of balance, nature, and cyclical growth.
The message of respect for the land — which, in turn, rewards that respect with its bounty — is echoed through the use of words, symbols, and colors. These elements are crafted to evoke a sense of organic authenticity, moving beyond the typical aesthetic cues of traditional certifications. Instead, they establish an emotional and sensory connection with the consumer, inviting them to become part of the natural cycle themselves.
