Founded in 1969, Cantina dei Colli Ripani bottled its first wine in 1977 in the heart of the Marche region, within the territory of Ripatransone. To honor this milestone, the winery created a new collection of wines dedicated to the hospitality and catering market. The line was named 'settantasette (Italian for "seventy-seven") as a tribute to both the winery's history and its connection to the territory.

8 WINES
The identity and label design for this new collection were inspired by eight distinct perspectives of Ripatransone and the Marche region, each capturing a unique facet of the town’s landscape, heritage, and character. Each wine is a reflection of these diverse points of view, creating a collection that embodies the richness of the region.
8 COPYWRITERS
To bring each wine’s story to life, we invited eight copywriters to participate in a unique creative process. Each copywriter was assigned one of the eight wines and tasked with giving it a distinct personality. The brief was simple: “Imagine the wine as a person introducing itself.” Each copywriter worked independently, unaware of the others' narratives, resulting in eight unique and personal interpretations of the wines' characters.
8 DESIGNERS
Once the copywriters’ texts were complete, we invited eight designers to visually interpret these stories. Each designer crafted a unique, hand-drawn label inspired by the assigned wine’s persona. The label itself was shaped to reflect the silhouette of the Ripatransone territory, further emphasizing the connection between wine, place, and identity. This creative approach allowed each label to tell a distinct story, highlighting the uniqueness and character of each wine in the 'settantasette collection.
This project is a celebration of collaboration, and craftsmanship, embodying the essence of Cantina dei Colli Ripani's enduring connection to its land, its people, and its winemaking heritage.
