The term Anima Mundi — meaning "World Soul" — holds profound significance in ancient traditions, including Platonic philosophy. It represents the intrinsic connection between all things, the unity of the whole, and an intangible force that links all living beings on the planet. This concept mirrors the relationship between the human soul and the human body, symbolizing an unbreakable bond.

With such a powerful and ancient concept at its core, Anima Mundi wine by Cantina dei Colli Ripani aims to embody the connection between the land, its people, and its traditions. The design challenge was to translate this profound and timeless idea into a physical form that would honor its depth and complexity. The result is a packaging design that invites consumers to engage more deeply with the story of the wine and its roots in ancient philosophy.
The label is a masterpiece of craftsmanship and technical precision. It is printed on Arconvert’s Ispira Blue Saggezza Ultra WS, one of the finest Ispira pure natural ECF pulp papers, known for its soft, velvety surface finish. The deep blue color of the paper creates a striking contrast with the amber hues of the wine, while the Ultra WS treatment prevents wrinkles and reduces water absorption, ensuring the label remains pristine even in humid conditions.
The design features a range of refined embellishments that elevate both the visual and tactile experience. These include bronze foil accents, silkscreen printing, and embossed details that add depth and dimension. The most distinctive element, however, is the precision die-cutting with partial removal. This technique creates a captivating see-through effect, allowing glimpses of the amber wine to shine through the label's cutouts.
