The therapeutic properties of the springs, known since Roman times, were rediscovered in 1930 during restoration work on the old spa station. Excavations revealed partial remains of an ancient fountain wall and two underground passages once used to channel water to the fountain. These discoveries confirmed the historical presence of a spa in the ancient city of Palma, the former regional capital of Ager Palmensis.
The new brand identity has been meticulously crafted to honor the legacy of the ancient city of Palma, the historical capital of Ager Palmensis—a territory referenced by Pliny the Elder as part of the southern region of the Roman Picenum. The design draws inspiration from this deep historical connection, blending past and present to create a timeless visual identity.
